EDIT! People were complaining about it being too dark to see, so I made it brighter. Let me know if you like this one, or the darker version better, ok?

The title is from Ra's song The Only One which is so TOTALLY Riku's perspective of KH1... if you ship for Sora x Riku, which I know most of you do. It's from a lover scorned, why he chose the path he did and why Ansem was able to enter his heart.

This thing took forever to decide where the light was coming from (Sora?). Initially, I wanted it to be backlit but that wasn't going to work for me. Then I tried direct front, but that wasn't cooperating, either. I switched between the two for a while before I finally gave up and stood in my bathroom without any lights on. There's a window directly right from the mirror. So the light came from hard left, slightly up and slightly front. Amazing how really working with makeup helps with this, and vice-versa.

Uh, even fullview doesn't show all the detail. Please Download for the massively detailed 300 dpi version. It's delicious.

Drawing mechanical pencil on a regular sketchbook, ended up 25% opacity. Coloring in Photoshop 7, but several experiments in openCanvas 1.

very dark, it's kinda ominous. i love how the dark colors blend in to almost conceal him but he still stands out against the night.

I wanted to use the "consumed by darkness" idea. The shading was 100% experimental, let me tell you. I've never used such dark colors before.

hahahaa... About a million years ago, when KH first came out, I wanted to draw a picture of Seph and Riku... with Seph doing the Dr. Evil pinky thing "I will call him... Mini Me!" or whatever the quote is. It was a running joke for a while, then it was forgotten. Oh the stories that come from this...
